This week mission team is working in Panajachel, Guatemala constructing new homes, visiting a community, Nueva Esperanza, and preparing furniture for homes. Today we split up into 3 smaller groups; one group constructed a home for a young couple with three children, the group of teenagers went to Nueva Esperanza and  played football (soccer) with the children, and another group varnished shelves and teachers' desk for the preschool classrooms. To get to the clinic and preschool early this morning the team had to cross a suspension bridge that was over a 100 foot deep ravine with a river below! For a first day on the work site everything went extremely smoothly and the team is looking forward to an amazing week!
